The Society of Lancaster University Geography Students (or SLUGS for short), is run by an exec of 8 members.
The society exists to help students at Lancaster University with an interest and passion for geography to get to know each other and provide a relaxed and informal environment for student to do so . As a society, we put on a variety of events throughout the year. From academic events like guest lectures to social events including games nights, quizzes, and bar crawls, there is bound to be something for you within the society.
We are here to help you get the most out of your short time studying at Lancaster. We are also more than happy to help if you have any problems or queries relating to your degree or life at uni in general so if you would like to get in touch, do not hesitate to contact us. (Messaging us on Facebook is the best way!)
Want to get involved? Watch out for our socials and events on Facebook and the website and come down and chat to our friendly exec!
We look forward to seeing you soon!
